New In 2017

Doors Open, an idea which originated in Scotland in 1990, provides opportunities for people to tour buildings not typically open to the public. This year, we’ve added some walking tours to the mix.

No tickets or pre-registration is required for the walks or to visit the buildings, and the event is absolutely free. Some venues feature guided tours to exhibitions designed to bring the history of the building to life.

The event runs from 12 – 5 PM. However the walks will depart at specific times and from specific locations, and some of the buildings have adjusted hours. Please check the full descriptions for each building.

Watch for our pull out program in the May 28 issue of the Saskatoon Express – find all the places where you can pick up your copy.

Doors Open Saskatoon 2017 will showcase a number of buildings in various clusters around Saskatoon. This event is FREE of charge and is a great way to see some of Saskatoon's most interesting buildings.
